HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Saturday
February 22nd, 2025
10am – 12pm
Come join as we celebrate the life of Tuskegee Airman and hometown hero Malcolm E. Nettingham. Drafted into the Army in 1944, Nettingham became a flight radio operator and gunner with the 477th Bombardment Group, making him one of the original Tuskegee Airmen. Following his honorable discharge in 1946, he worked in the electronics industry for over 30 years and remained active in his community until his passing on September 14, 2020, just shy of his 102nd birthday.
Jerseyland Park Community Center (JPCC), located at 783 Jerusalem Road in Scotch Plains, NJ, serves as a vital community hub. Its purpose is to provide residents with recreational, educational, and cultural programs, fostering a strong sense of community and inclusivity.
JPCC is dedicated to supporting the local community through various initiatives, fundraisers, and cultural events including our annual membership drive held on the third Saturday of August. This event is a way to thank members for their continued support, featuring food, entertainment, games, and activities for all ages. It’s a day of celebration and connection, reinforcing JPCC’s commitment to fostering community spirit.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
Board of Trustees
